Dr. Jay Price - Veterinarian, CEO of Southern Veterinary Partners

Dr. Jay Price first came to the Hospital in May of 2006 shortly after graduating from veterinary school.

After three years as an associate veterinarian, Dr. Price acquired the hospital from its original owner.

Dr. Price says he first found his love of animal care while spending summers on his grandparents' farm helping to tend and care for its many animals. "One of the great joys of being a veterinarian," he says, "is the ability to spend my workday with the various animals that are our patients and maintaining the well-being of creatures that cannot speak for themselves."

He is married with 2 sons and 2 dogs at home.
