Veterinarian, Owner of Oak View Animal Hospital, CEO of Southern Veterinary Partners
Dr. Price first came to the Hospital in May of 2006 shortly after graduating from veterinary school. Dr. Price came to Oak View in 2006 shortly after graduating from veterinary school. After three years as associate veterinarian, Dr. Price acquired the hospital from its original owner.
Dr. Price says he first found his love of animal care while spending summers on his grandparents’ farm helping to tend and care for its many animals. "One of the great joys of being a veterinarian," he says, "is the ability to spend my work day with the various animals that are our patients and maintaining the well-being of creatures that cannot speak for themselves."

Dr. Robinson is a veterinarian with an emphasis in small animal medicine that has been with Oak View Animal Hospital since January, 2007. She became a partner in 2012.
A native of Montgomery, Alabama, Dr. Robinson says being a veterinarian is the perfect combination of her lifelong love of animals and the medical sciences. "What I enjoy most about my job is interacting with our clients and the feeling when you know you have truly made someone happy by helping their pet," she says. "Another great thing about my job is that I am constantly challenged and therefore able to learn something new every day, which makes me better at my job."[READ FULL BIO]
Associate Veterinarian Dr. Katie Stipes joined the team at Oak View Animal Hospital in February 2015. Her love for animals stretches back far further, though; she can vividly recall her childhood in Cullman, Alabama and all her treasured pets. "I always gave them very interesting names," Dr. Stipes remembers. "I had an all-black Cocker Spaniel named Sunshine, and a Cocker Spaniel named Jay Barker - after the Alabama quarterback, of course."
Dr. Stipes was hooked on animals from an early age, and she continued to pursue her passion during her academic career, gaining her Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Alabama in 2007, and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. She's also volunteered with the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter, and is a member of both the Alabama Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.[READ FULL BIO]
