Brandy began her career in animal care at Oak View Animal Hospital in 2007 and is a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She says, "I like working at Oak View because we are all like one, big happy family. We treat all of our patients like they are our own pets and manage to have quite a bit of fun together while getting the job done."
At home, Brandy has two dogs and two cats. When not working at the vet hospital or spending time with her pets, she enjoys the beach, karaoke, painting, drawing, watching movies and bird watching. Brandy and her husband Jeremy welcomed daughter Emma in 2015.
Natalie has been a member of our hard-working veterinary technician team at Oak View Animal Hospital since 2013. She's the proud pet parent of 8 pets including a rabbit named Meeka. In her free time out side the vet hospital, Natalie enjoys going on long hikes and exploring beautiful mother nature.
Julie has been with Oak View Animal Hospital since 2007 and has more than 22 years of experience in animal care. Julie says, "The compassion shown toward the patients and clients at Oak View Animal Hospital far surpasses my previous work experience. The veterinarians here go above and beyond in order to care for the very sweet pets that come through our doors. We also have a lot of fun around here."
Outside the vet hospital, Julie likes to garden, hunt and fish with friends and family, walk around Myers Plants & Pottery in Pelham and spend time with her husband Greg, son "Bubba" and daughter "Pookey" and grandson Cooper. She has many pets at home including Phil, a lab who often serves as a pet blood donor.
Corey joined the Oak View Animal Hospital veterinary technician team in 2016 but has years of experience in animal care. Corey has 4 dogs at home.
Renee has been with Oak View Animal Hospital since 1996. "I love everyone that works at Oak View Animal Hospital and most of all, the environment is wonderful. I believe that every client as well as employee should be treated with respect, compassion and like family; just like I would want to be treated whenever I am out. I believe that pets are part of that family and our clients expect us to treat them as such." At home, Renee has two cats Ginger & KiKi. When not working at the vet hospital she says, "It’s always family first, especially my grandkids!"
Lee joined the Oak View Animal Hospital family in 2016 but has years of experience in the veterinary industry and in animal rescue and adoption. We welcomed Lee to our Client Care team as we continued to grow and serve more Pelham pet owners. Lee has a German Shepherd named Sister (her heart!) and 2 kitty boys named Charlie & Murray.
Elizabeth is our Operations Manager and has been with Oak View Animal Hospital since 2006. She began her veterinary career in 1994 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Auburn University in 2000. Her duties include maintaining inventory of pet medications, pet food and supplies, overseeing vet hospital procedures and making sure everything runs smoothly. “I love seeing the business grow and the entire staff here is wonderful,” she says of what she enjoys most about Oak View Animal Hospital. “The veterinarians are excellent and show a tremendous amount of care for the animals. The quality of medicine is the best around and our clients are very complimentary of our vet team.”
She has French Bulldogs named Bruiser & Bella and and a cat named Merlin. Elizabeth’s interests outside the vet hospital include playing with her children and animals, cross-stitch and karaoke. Elizabeth also serves as Operations Manager for Southern Veterinary Partners.
Casey is our talented pet groomer and has been with Oak View Animal Hospital since 2011, but began her career in animal care and grooming in 2004. She derives a great amount of joy from making her clients happy and helping their pets feel and look their best after their grooming appointments.
Casey has 5 pets at home. Her interests outside the vet hospital include fishing, going to the lake and spending time with herfamily.
Christy joined the Oak View Animal Hospital family in 2016 as our Kennel Manager. She oversees the pets staying with us in our boarding facility and ensures the pets and their owners have an enjoyable experience!
Aubie & Shortie were homeless cats that found a new life with our staff at Oak View Animal Hospital.
Savanah joined the Oak View Animal Hospital team in 2016. Savannah cares for pets in our boarding facility and assists with bathing and grooming.
